Connor Styche

There’s no denying Connor’s a geek at heart. Having smashed 13 GCSEs and 6 A-Levels by the age of 16, his dad wanted him to realise his potential of becoming an astronaut or a biochemist. Instead, he rebelled, and started on his career path into marketing. Having got a head start on the rest of us mere mortals, at the age of just 28, he already has over 10 years of experience behind him, but more importantly, he’s fluent in computer language, allowing him to be one step ahead of most marketeers in this digital age we live in.

His technical abilities have seen him develop apps, build many websites and write bespoke code for system integrations and software solutions.

Connor is currently working on developing a real-time cost management solution in response to a recognised demand in the construction industry. This will keep a track on labour, suppliers, professional services, POs, variations, assets and timesheets, allowing businesses to realise the true value of a project at any given time; it’s due to launch into market on a cost per licence basis in Q1 of 2024.

With Connor being a high-functioning autistic, he’s as thorough as they come. He’s continually analysing the various marketing channels, identifying new opportunities and ensuring the businesses we work with are as agile as possible.

Connor sits on the steering committee of Kent’s branch of Constructing Excellence and is Vice Chair of Kent’s Generation for Change, a dedicated group focusing on those with less than 10 years in the construction industry. Most recently, Connor has been appointed on the steering committee of the Kent Construction EXPO to help shape Kent’s largest construction event, ensuring it’s supporting the entire supply chain.

He’s also working with other industry professionals to further develop Southern Wellness Action Group; a not-for-profit organisation designed to help SME’s access trained mental health first aiders.
